Accountants in Manchester for growing businesses

Fixed-fee bookkeeping, tax and advice from an ACCA-regulated practice, for businesses and individuals in Manchester.

Greater Manchester has a large technology sector, a fintech scene around Spinningfields, media and creative businesses clustered at MediaCityUK alongside the BBC and ITV and a large financial and professional services sector.

NDCA is an ACCA-regulated, remote-first accountancy practice built for growing businesses. We work with sole traders, limited companies and landlords across the UK on a fixed monthly fee: bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, self assessment and year-end accounts, all handled through Xero. Manchester clients get a named accountant who understands their numbers, not a rotating junior team.

What can I say. When I first met Noor over at NDCA I instantly knew he was the man for the job. Straight away he made me feel at ease about my accounts and my tax situation which I personally felt were an absolute mess. Well here we are! 6 months later, limited company open and everything in order. I can now truly relax and focus on growing my business. NDCA has truly dissolved my tax anxiety. Cannot recommend them enough.

Really good experience using NDCA for my year end accounts and CT600. Everything was handled professionally and submitted on time with no stress. They explained the numbers clearly and kept me updated throughout the process. Communication was great and they were always available to answer any questions. Highly recommend NDCA for year end accounts and corporation tax work 👍

Why businesses choose NDCA

NDCA works with business owners who want more than year-end accounts. We combine proactive advice, cloud accounting and fixed monthly pricing to help you stay in control of your finances and make confident decisions.

Who we help

How we support businesses in Manchester

Sole trader or limited company is one of the first decisions a new business makes. A limited company offers limited liability and, below certain size limits, simplified reporting, but it brings more admin. We model both options on your own figures and explain what would change.

Whatever the structure, the day-to-day tasks are much the same: invoicing, chasing payments, tracking expenses, staying on top of VAT if you are registered, running payroll if you employ anyone and filing accurate accounts and tax returns on time. Manchester’s economy also has long-standing strength in finance, manufacturing and logistics. We work with all of them on the same straightforward basis.

Why a remote-first accountant works for Manchester businesses

A city this size has hundreds of accounting firms. What matters is whether they reply quickly, explain things in plain English and charge a fee you agreed to upfront. NDCA is remote first, which removes the overhead of a high-street office and lets us serve sole traders, limited companies and landlords across the UK rather than just within a postcode radius.

The service runs the way your business already runs: video calls, shared live data, quick turnarounds. Your Xero file is open to both sides all the time. The fee is fixed before we start, so questions and calls never cost extra.

How NDCA works

Fixed monthly fee

One price, agreed upfront, covering the full scope. No hourly clock, no surprise invoices in month nine.

Direct answers from your accountant

A named accountant who knows your business and normally responds the same day, backed by real-time numbers in Xero instead of an annual catch-up.

Built around your business

Sole traders, growing companies and landlords each get a scope built around what they need, not a fixed template.

Cloud accounting with Xero

  • Payments and bank data: your accounts and Stripe feed into Xero automatically, ready for Making Tax Digital VAT returns.
  • Paperwork handled: Apron picks up invoices and receipts, so nobody has to keep a box of paper for year-end.
  • Figures on the go: the Xero app shows your cash position and lets you approve bills from your phone.
  • Up to date all year: your accountant and you look at the same live file, every month.

If you are new to Xero, setup and migration from your current system are included when you join.

Switching from a Manchester accountant

Clients usually move to us when replies take a week, bills arrive by the hour or the service stops fitting a growing business. We request the handover, collect the records and carry on from where your previous firm stopped, with every HMRC deadline covered. You can switch at any point in the year. How long it takes depends mainly on how quickly your previous accountant sends the records across, and we keep you updated throughout.
